Purple!! and shade, doesn't matter. One of my least favorite color is yellow (because I can't wear yellow) but some how most of my "favorite" quilts have yellow in them. Go figure. Also love orange and red, yes, together

Me too, pinks and greens and roses, roses, roses. I recently branched out into bright colours for a baby's quilt at my granddaughter's request and now I quite like brights and have made a couple more but still steer towards my first loves.

I am with all the warm-colors crowd! But a little bit of the other side of the color wheel really gives it sparkle :).

I have a quilt all cut out that is going to consist of oranges, yellows, off-whites and royal blue. I will try to post some pictures when I get it all spread out and get ready to start sewing.

Do I have to pick?? I love the reds, blues and creams. But lately I have been leaning more toward the greens, especially the teal green/blue and yellow. I love them all for different reasons.

Merry Christmas.

I'm inclined to go blue.....maybe blue & brown. However, each quilt (other than scrappy) could be just about any color. I love them all!

It is muted colors of Mother Nature for me with a splash of one of those colors for deep contrast.

Colorwise, it's mostly the blues and greens and anywhere in between that I tend to like; but when it comes to catching my eye, it would be the color combinations of a piece.
For instance a pink/maroon combo, or a blue/brown. I also prefer softer colors rather than brights. A quilt symbolizes comfort to me and the softer tones are what are more relaxing.
