Default Question on stripe fabrics used on Borders??

I put this design on EQ5 to work on a charity quilt. This has always bugged me because I wanted the stripes to go the direction of how it appears in the top and bottom. The sides have the stripe going vertical and I would like to have it go horizontally? Am I missing something or is this problem corrected in either EQ6 or EQ7 (which unfortunately I can not afford to upgrade). THANKS !!!

PS I hope the picture posted......

Are you using your own scanned fabric for the stripes or is it one already in the library that you copied?

If it is yours I would take your scanned pic and turn it sideways and give it another name. Then try to add it to the library. It may reject it as being already in the sketchbook but it does give you the option to add it again. The reason it is in one direction only is because the program is copying it and placing it as it is seen in your sketchbook. If you change it in your picture you should be able to add a new pic with it turned the way you want it to look.

If it is already in the library see if you can copy and paste or save the picture file to your computer and then turn the file and save it in the library.

This should work but sometimes what I think will work the program won't let me do. So this is my best idea. If it doesn't work you could take a real fabric with stripes and scan it in so you have a pic of it both directions.

Let me know how you come out with it!
