We have three dogs, Lexie, a border collie/akita mix (also known as flash coming thru the doggie door), Nellie, a rat terrier (Ms. Plus Size), and now Buddy, a boston terrier who we are fostering (but looks like he may be permanent)(also known as little flash following Lexie thru the doggie door.) Since both of my daughters have two dogs apiece, we occassionally have a herd to babysit. But we have an one acre fenced backyard it doen't get crowded until bed time.

Two housecats, spoiled rotten! one house dog, very old; 9 outside dogs, at various locations, almost 60 goats, and all act like their my favorite! and more cats outside - have lost count! But, I love my menagerie - oh yes, not to be left out is Chirp - my cockatiel who shares my sewing/computer room here and sings and chirps to me as I sew.

There is a wonderful Bevery Cleary story about a boy with two guppies who eventually has a bedroom full of giant pickle jars holding all the guppies who have been born at his house....so as a teacher and "inquiring mind" I have to ask-----do they really multiply quickly? Thanks
they have lots of babies at 1 time. problem is that they will be eaten quickly if there is not a lot of vegetation for them to hide in or unless you catch the babes and put them in a smaller nursery tank.
