Lori,
I love the colors you chose for the piece. I really enjoy working with paper piecing. I find I make much sharper points and corners with paper piecing.
The purple star in my avatar is paper piecing. It is called Wild Zinnias from Quilterscache. go there and try that one. It was challenging and fun.

That is beautiful! Maybe someday I'll be ready for that. Just so nice.

I taught myself to paper piece when I did aphabet and number blocks. I really like the way everything matches up.

Lori you did a beautiful job and the colors really pop.

On the books, I have received two and have sent them to another SP after I read them. It is fun sending books on .

are the books "stand alone" or must you read the series starting w/#1 to understand everything?

Today I received a wonderful package from grandme26.I received some beautiful FQ's, pom-pom maker, pincushion jar with loads of buttons, Quiltmaker magazine and a book to share with other SP's by Jennier Chiaverini and my favorite pencil box to store small items in.
Judy - you were wonderful to me. It came on a great day, found out my husband is in remission with rectal cancer.

I like to listen to the unabridged audio books. You get all the New Jersy accents, and listening to Lula is hilarious.
