Today I visited Aunt Sis, who makes clothes for the American Girl dolls. Off in one corner was an old sewing machine covered with muslin. Turns out it is my great-grandmother Darnell's treadle machine still in the original wood cabinet. Hope I can talk her kids out of it someday!

Since it does not appear anyone is using it, I would ask! Let us know.

My aunt is still alive and very proud of that machine, there is no way I'm getting it until she passes someday.

I remember my grandmother having one similar to that. What would they think of today's machines!

Hope you get to have her.

I have one exactly like that one. Does it have the manual? I sure would like to get a copy of a manual.
