Welcome from eastern ND. If you're ever in the eastern part of the state, please stop at my shop...Embroidery Plus in Grafton. Haven't been to Hazen since I was a hockey mom.

Hi from another North Dakotan!! I live in Larimore, 30 miles west of Grand Forks which is on the eastern border of the state. I tried joining a local quilt guild but found it a hard group to get in with as they had their own little "groups" and I didn't seem to fit. So this winter, I started a little quilt group here at my house - usually 6-7 people. We take turns making supper and then work on mostly charity projects, such as little dresses and britches for boys for Africa and now we're working on some quilts for flood victims in Alabama. If you ever come this way, stop at Larson's Drive Inn on the north end of town and ask for Marlene.
