Made this the other night at guild - it has no batting.
Anyone made one using batting?
At what point & how did you add the extra layer?

Thinking I'd need batting if I wanted to do some quilting. This one only has SID.

Haven't made one but my LQS owner has one displayed with batting & backing. If no one here has done it, I can call & ask her for you.

I like it. I don't think you need batting on a table runner.
I have a quilt that I am going to use as a table cloth and I
don't think I will use batting.

thanks for the link - will have to try one following the photos.

Nettie Phillips - I agree that table runners do not need batting but thought these would be a great project to practice some FMQ on since they are quick & easy to assemble.

If you cut the batting with the points on the end it would work. But that fold on the ends wouldn't be sharp if the whole thing had batting.

Yours is sure pretty
