So sad Kat. I am sorry he is gone. I can't imagine losing a child of any age.

I wouldn't relive my wedding for anything! My mom organized it all and we only gave her one month to do it. It was such a circus! A large traditional wedding with 4 attendants and my mom is a perfectionist!
One funny moment tho was we got married on my mom's birthday. My dad knew how nervous I was and he sang Happy Birthday to my mom in my ear as he walked me down the aisle! Noone else knew he did it!! But it is a sweet memory.

The day my son was born. I cried over his big feet. They looked like swim fins. Now he is 45 and 6'3" and we laugh and laugh over the fact that he grew into his feet.

My youngest son is 6 ft 3 also and has big feet. My dad had big feet and both of my boys inherited it. One wears 13 and the other 13 1/2. My dad wore 12 1/2 and had to have his special ordered at the time. Fortunately they started making the larger sizes by the time my boys were old enough to need the specialty sizes.

I remember reading about a man who wore size 17 shoes. I think some of the basketball players have large feet.

Would have to be the moment I held my first born....She was placed in my arms and I thought I would explode with happiness. That was 47 years ago and DH was in the waiting room (as was the norm in those days), I could not wait to get her out to see him.

There wasn't affection to be had when I was growing up and I remember one time being very sick with an abscessed tooth and my mother putting me on her lap and holding me. I would relive that moment over and over if I could. It is one of the only times I remember her touching me.

I have three 1. My last supper with my Dad, thought he would live forever, he was my best friend in the whole world. I can't remember telling him that I loved him when I left that night. The next morning he was killed at work.

2. Holding my daughter for the first time

3. Holding my son, one year later, for the first time
