Just got back from a road trip with three of my five sisters. They flew in to Nashville from California, drove through Kentucky up to Ohio. Visited and stayed with my Cousin whom I have not seen in 15 years! toured Amish country. Went horse back riding at the Kentucky horse farm, visited any thing that had to do with Lincoln (my sister is a history buff) Mammoth Cave, Makers mark distillery, drove down to Lynchburg TN. to visit Jack Daniels Distillery, the day they left we visited The Hermitage (Andrew Jackson). My sisters are now home and I am not sure if I am depressed or exhausted. I will say this Quilting Board lifts my spirit, I can always count on everyone here giving me ideas for my next quilt or help with a current quilt. Thanks to all of you for the help, great ideas, and laughs. :P

What fun it must be to have sisters. Your trip sounds awsome and best of all with your sisters.

Well growing up with five sisters didn't seem all that fun :P :-P But now that we are all much much older we have a great time together and miss each other greatly.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time, and will enjoy your memories for a long time of it. I have 3 older sisters and you're right...now that we're older, we're the best of friends.

I surprised my 2 sisters a couple of years ago. I live about 8 hours away from them, The two of them had gotten together for Thanksgiving Friday and were shopping in Walmart before lunch. I called them on the cell phone in Walmart and asked about their sales in the store and what department they were shopping in. My DH and I went quickly to that area. I thought my older sister was going to pee in the floor. The look on their faces was priceless. It was great seeing them it had been 8 years since we had seen each other at our father's funeral.
