Well I have to say again, a big thankyou to CathyM as most of the fabrics used in these two projects were donated by her :D

The Care bears were precut 3" squares with 3" Egyptian white cotton in a pack....I am so pleased with the result and I managed to do the applique using freezer paper :D

Oh and the Care Bear Clouds Glow in the dark :shock: :lol:

The little xmas lap quilt was about half a yard of the snowmen, so I decided to chop it up, and use the 10" flannel pieces to make 9 patches, I think they compliment each other lovely :D

I am trying my hardest to make use of ALL the fabrics you all so kindly donated...bit by bit I am using them up :D

Shame I didn't get to use the little xmas quilt, but it will be waiting for me next xmas :D

The care bear quilt is just the cutest:) When I was kid, I would have loved something like that!

The snowman quilt just makes me want to snuggle under it. It looks really warm and cozy and the snowmen themselves are really cute!

Val, do you know I think when you have limited resources, it makes you more creative, and being the impatient person that I am, when I get an idea to do SOMETHING ....I wanna do it NOW, so just have to get my thinking cap on lol!!
