Ok, this is my 1st crazy quilt and QAYG. I am very pleased with it so far and only have 2 repeats on the fabric (1 blue, & 1 white).

I am totally amazed at how flat it lays! I just stitched the pieces right on the batting (warm and white) instead of using muslin. My blocks are 8-1/2 X 8-1/2.

Now I see why ya'll are scrappers!

Nice work! I want to try a crazy quilt one of these days. So how do you like the QAYG method so far?

Great quilt - did you stitch just on to batting or with muslin behind it as well? I wanted to try this method for a string quilt. How did you join the blocks, just right side together as usual? And the seam with the batting isn't too bulky? How did you attach the backing? Questions, questions!!!

Great to piece a top and as if by magic, it's already quilted!

This looks fantastic. I want to try to do this. Are you following a pattern at all sewnsewer?
