Default Owner's manual for Atlas

Does anyone know where I can find an owner's manual for a pink Atlas sewing machine? I have no clue as to how it works.

I have a pink Atlas but no manual. It is basically a Brother machine so you can follow a manual for a vintage Brother, if you have one.

ETA: I looked in my bookmarks and found a few helpful links:

If you want to join the yahoo vintage japanese sewing machine group they have a Brother manual in their files that will work for the Atlas. Here is the link to the group:

Hello--I just joined this group today. I have a scan that I made of the pink Atlas straight-stitcher manual. Is this the one you need? They also made a zig-zagger. Contact me and I'd be glad to send you the pdf. It won't be the best scan you have ever seen, but you can read everything and the photos are clear enough.

Hi Cheryl, I was looking for the Atlas sewing machine manual and I find you. I would like to know if I can have a copy of your manual when ever you have a chance I know you are a busy person. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I actually have acquired both the straight stitch Atlas in yellow in its cabinet and the pink version of the zig zagger. While I understand the threading and how to make the machine work, (that single cam is amazing!) The manual would be a boon for me since I am stuck servicing my own machines! Thank you in advance

Hello CrissyDoll, welcome to the boards. Dragonpoodle only made the one post about the scan of her manual and it was in 2012 so is not likely to see your comment. The Blogspot link still works but she has not been very active there either -- but it was in the last couple of years.

Maybe this link will help?

Here are Atlas manuals https://archive.org/details/select-o...age/5/mode/1up https://ataleoftwoquilters.blogspot....ne-manual.html https://d28lcup14p4e72.cloudfront.ne...h%20Manual.pdf You may have to join to get the last one.
We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button. As shown at Standard Sewing Machine Co. Paragon

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.
https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...p-location.jpg

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of quilt block ID?

Another way to post pictures can be found at 2021/2022, 2.5” Birthday Swap
And how to use an ipad to post pictures can be found at Uploading photos

Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post.

Some additional notes -
The photos generally need to be reduced to less than 2MB in size. I have heard of people sending an email to themselves as it will ask if you want to reduce the size.

I have an android phone and when I tried to reply on Quilting Board while in mobile view None of the options for adding pictures was available. However, there is an option down at the bottom left of the page that is for Full Site when I tapped on "Full Site" It then looked like the way it looks on my lap top. So it would have the Red Reply and the Go Advanced options.

Do Not Preview post.
