    Default Question Keepsake Quilting

Have you ordered fabric from Keepsake Quilting. If you have, what is the quality of their fabrics? I was thinking about ordering some fabric from them.

I have ordered from them and they are good fabrics. However, I prefer to order from fabric.com, connecting threads and thousands of bolts...prices are much better.

I was at the shop a couple of weeks ago and their fabric is wonderful. We've been there a number of times over many years, my sister has ordered from them, and I've never seen anything that is not very good quality. Frankly, I think you can sometimes get the same fabrics elsewhere for a bit less, but their service is wonderful. If you call you get pleasant, knowledgeable people who are happy to answer any questions. I bought a sale packet of six fabrics, half yards of each. It's a Moda collection called Fifi and Fido, and the feel of fabric is so silky and smooth, and hefty. I just loved it. It only cost $20 in the sale room of the shop. If you want quality you can't go wrong there.

They don't make their own fabric. They sell the same fabrics as the quilt stores - Hoffman, RJR, Timeless Treasures, etc.

Their fabrics are all from major manufacturers, they don't have their own brand or any kind of generic brand (and they are NOT the makers of the Keepsake Calico brand sold at JoAnn's). Excellent quality and excellent service. Plus they have a "no quibble" guarantee, meaning you can return anything at any time for any reason, so there's no risk at all.

Good to know. Thank you all. Unfortunately what I wanted is on back order so I had to find something elsewhere. But now I know for the future.

I buy fabric from Keepsake all the time. The store is amazing if you ever come to NH. But if you want batiks, batiksplus has the best selection and they have sales! Keepsake has sales, too. Be sure to check out some of their pre-cut selections as these are usually a good buy.
