Default Baking the evening away

Spent part of the day sewing a Christmas quilt now I'm baking "Belgian Waffle Cookies". In my house they are better known as "Whiskey Cookies". It takes awhile because they are baked one at a time on a special cookie iron. The cookie dough doesn't taste very good, but the finished cookies are always a hit. The bottle of whiskey lasts a long time when it is only used once a year for cookies, so I assume they just get better each year!

Good for you, don't even sound good to me. I wanted to make a couple batches of cookies today. I didn't because of a sore on my right hand. May do it one evening this week. Next Sunday oldest Daughter and I will be making cinnamon rolls for Christmas breakfast.

I'm not really that patient. It only took an hour because they only cook for about 1 minute per side and I checked on QB while I was doing it. Jingle, I need to make rolls for Christmas breakfast as well (will be in Lemay and Maplewood MO on Christmas morning)!
