Default Need help. Custom Liberty Log Cabin

I have this customer quilt, and they want custom quilting. Traditional and not dense. No problem.
My problem is what to do. The backing is the same color as the light rows in
the top. I don't know why, but it always seems like the easy things give me
trouble. I have been looking at it for a few days. I have petty much any
thread color and also Glide Essence (haven't used it yet but I hear great things
about it.) It will be used as a shop sample and also taken to shows to have in
the vendor booth. It will really help me get the exposure I need.

Any suggestions would be great. Even something that will get my brain unstuck.
Thank you for looking and I appreciate the help.

The borders will be easy. I have plans for them, depending on what I do for the body of the quilt.

soccertxi posted a great link this week on FMQ--How Do You Decide What Style To use thread. I will try to add it here for you, I really enjoyed looking through her custom quilting pictures.

Since the quilt top is very busy, having a complicated quilting pattern would be a little over the top, in my opinion. If it were me, since I want the piecing to stand out and the quilting to blend in, I would use a allover meander. But that is just me. I have seen some quilts that were so heavily quilted that when I looked at he quilt, I didn't notice the patchwork because the quilting was so prominent. If it were mine, I think I would request a star meander. I think it would look lovely, but that is perhaps not what your customer wants. Good Luck!

I agree with not over quilting. She doesn't want an all over design. I would like to SID the stars. And maybe feather the blue. But stuck about the space between the stars more than anything. ..... i think ;/ lol

Don't have any suggestions, but think this quilt is really nice. Who ever though of putting 9 patches with log cabin blocks? I love it.
