quilt top is very busy, having a complicated quilting pattern would be a little over the top, in my opinion. If it were me, since I want the piecing to stand out and the quilting to blend in, I would use a allover meander. But that is just me. I have seen some quilts that were so heavily quilted that when I looked at he quilt, I didn't notice the patchwork because the quilting was so prominent. If it were mine, I think I would request a star meander. I think it would look lovely, but that is perhaps not what your customer wants. Good Luck!
