New to board and quilting
Hello everyone! Wanted to take a moment to say hello and introduce myself. I'm Lisa from NC. I began playing around with quilting in Sept. I bought some cheap fabric and learned how to use a rotary cuter. After that, I learned how to use a sewing machine and how to sew a straight seam. That was a jumping off point for me. I read books, watched youTube videos and made a lapsized quilt. My, was it awful! But I learned a great deal from it. Then, I was lucky enough to find a beginners class. I have now finished a second lap quilt, a great improvement over the first 
I have since joined a warm, welcoming, knowledgeable group of quilters that meet once a month. I hope to learn as much as I can about this beautiful art form and make quilts I am proud of.
