Zoey is 3 1/2 y.o. and a rescue Russian Blue, who speaks very fluent English and is quite the little lady, she loves the finer things in life, as stated, stinky cheese, bacon and blueberry muffins. Has very good manners, and is quite friendly. (Her mama didn't raise no fool.) she knows how to get what she wants when she wants it, (otherwise i'll have hell to pay). loves her jewelry and quilts and treats, and is oh so particular about the men in her life. very picky!
very cute little girl, very nice manners and very clean. I imagine your Pixie is used to the warm weather? Does she have a suitor?

Well it seems that the ornament making continues. Attended 4H meeting this evening and was asked to come up with activity for the next meeting. You guessed it along with the kids we have decided to have an ornament challenge. Each person will pick their own plain ornament as a base, its their chose wood, shatter proof plastic, foam, etc. They will then use the provided art supplies at the meeting and have 15 minutes to decorate their ornaments. The adults will then choose the winners in 5 different catagories. Those havent been chosen yet but each winner will receive a prize. The kids are super excited about this one.

Now this leads me to needing some advice. I need some suggestions for art supplies that can be easily found, used, and dry quickly. I have thought of glue dots instead of actual glue and glitter glue and letting them know that they must use it in thin layers in order for it to dry. What would you think would be a great supply to add in the mix. My kids have suggested Xmas stickers, 4H stickers, pipe cleaners, fuzzy hair like a troll has. Hoping all of you could give me a few suggestions that are out of the ordinary.

Lynnie,
I see a new career in your future, writing profiles for: "Scratch.com"...dating for discriminating felines, who also love a scratching post or 2...And when things turn serious, it could be handled thru "MeowyMe.com".

Kiffie, Zoey is in the hall tapping her foot. that means it's time for me to go to bed.
she likes to get me in bed early, then she comes out to my dh for awhile. when he goes to sleep (whenever he wishes)she comes to bed. but when she puts me in, she stays with me for 10-15 min. If I ignore her foot tapping, she starts to meow really loud. time to go.

My dog is pacing the floor telling me its time to go to bed as well! I just finished making my ornaments. One of my partners is getting an extra one because I attempted to do something "special" and well let's just say - I had to send a note along explaining what it is. So I sent an extra one!

Anyway, there are now two packages sitting on my island to go to work with my DH in the morning to be mailed. I gonna miss that little perk when he leaves his job after Christmas. Oh, well, I think I can figure out how to mail packages!

Have a good rest of the weekend - what's left of it!
