Default new home 900 XL II

anyone have any experience with a new home 900 -
a threading diagram and oiling diagram would be a great place for me to start.

need to figure out how to remove cover over upper tension, anyone?

Probably a hidden screw somewhere. Maybe need to remove the top cover.

What is tha bulbous thing below the upper tension adjuster?

I have the manual for this machine. I am looking for a non working machine as mine needs repair after 40 years of use and I refuse to part with it. Or, if you no longer want one, please contact me.

What parts do you need? I have a similar badged machine with broken gears in the free arm.

Sorry to ressurect an old thread.. does anyone have a disassembly manual for this machine ??
I'm utterly stumped in trying to diagnose a fault with the needle position selector dial..
