Here is my block for this week (Mississippi I think?...my book is out in my sewing shed). I got papers cut for several more blocks, fabrics cut for the next two. I hope to get some more fabrics cut this week when I need a break from quilting the current quilt I am working on.

Hi
Sorry to here that you are takeing a break from the blocks Mirabella, I loved see your colour combination every week, have a good break and hope to see you back soon. Lucky I am in front with my block I was able to slow down over the last 2 months while I had other things on that I didn't get behind, now I am getting back into it and just started the August blocks.
Here is my Mississippi block when I finshed this one I realised that it was the first one without any yellow, so over the last 25 blocks I have to make a few more with no yellow so it will blend in.

gorgeous blocks one and all! I want to shop everyones stash
Got my finished stars back and bound, love it! I think it is 95" square. As always my reverse side is pieced also, this time using up a bolt of depressing olive/black that I inherited.
I asked Wende to use what ever panto she wanted as long as it had stars, I think she chose a great one. I provided batt too, it was about $160.00 for the quilting.
the angle is weird, I had to hang over the balcony railing for photos, I think that is sun bars on the quilt.
I've also been making pillow cases, LOVE that red pokeydot!
