Talking Lipstick and Mirrors

It is said a middle school in a west coast state was faced with a problem. The girls were beginning to use lipstick and would apply it in the bathroom. After they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirrors leaving dozens of little lip prints. Finally, the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the custodian. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every day. To demonstrate how difficult it was to clean she asked the custodian to clean one of the mirrors. He proceeded to take out a long-handled brush, dip it into the nearest toilet, and scrub the mirror. No more lip prints.

What next will young girls think of ???? I had to put earring, nylon stockings and makeup on at Junior High school because my mother didn't allow it. That was in the mid 60s !!
