For that price, I'm tempted to PP you money and I'll find a way to make it to Cali!! That's one of the last on my list - it's between that or a German equivalent. (edit: or you're probably one of the few I'd trust to be able to break her down into her original components for shipping!)

I'm going to have to go look, I don't think I've seen a 201 in new clothes. All of the ones I've had here have been the black "regular" bodies.

This is so true. I don't know why I think I should try to save money for other things... like food and mortgages. Really, I feel very happy when I get a new cast iron friend...

The Raymond went, the F&R I'll check on today. It's been a zoo here and I haven't followed up on anything lately.

It is very dangerous to sew on a machine you can't see.
Wow! No kidding! You'd never know when it was gonna bite you!

"Vintage singer $400 obo. Ive gotten many opinions on the old singer and $400 seems the fair price."

It's a 15-91. I wish I could find buyers with opinions like that.

The only problem with those is figuring out how to thread it. There are about 50 different flavors of Model 24s, and the manual on the Singerco site isn't the right one.

Neither could this seller though. No buyers with that opinion, just admirers
