Default Curling, hockey and a little quilting!

Proud of our Canadian curlers today... and proud of our women's Hockey Team! Two golds!

And I top it all off with bringing the machine out of the basement to do a little machine appliqué for an 'umbrella' bed runner. What a fun day!

I'll join you in this maple leaf moment of pride ...

I've been getting lots of sewing done during the Olympics too!

Sooooooo VERY proud of our ladies too. That hockey game was so exciting but it almost gave me heart failure! The U.S. team should be proud of themselves because they played extremely well. What can we say about our curling team except FANTASTIC - what an accomplishment. A gold medal with a "perfect" record.........................PRICELESS.

Totally agree. I love watching curling and this team was exceptional. No quilting for me though as we are breathing through the dust of our kitchen being renovated. I can't wait to take possession of my kitchen again!

Congratulations Canada! Win or loose all of the athletes are to be commended for their hard work.

......... absolutely!
Look at all the ones who come in 4th ... or even further down the list, for being behind only by a few 100ths of a second!

The extenuating circumstances many have come thru to just get there are stores unto themselves ... for all country's athletes. They are all winners!!

And now it's time for the men! I don't really follow curling, but there is just something about the Olympics!

Right now, it is Canada 5, Great Britain, 1. Go guys, go!

And how about those double medals in Ski Cross today? Sweet!

.......With more hockey to come .... and only the semis today!

If we have any nails left by the end of the Olympics......... it'll be a wonder!

Yes, our girls did play extremely well....for 56 minutes. Unfortunately, a regulation hockey game is 60 minutes.
