Default Polka dot quilts for twins

My niece had twins, a boy and a girl, in January and she asked me to make them quilts. Her request was for polka dot quilts- hmm- how to do that? This is what I came up with- appliqued circles on white Kona. One is backed with an orange print for Elise and the other with blue for Micah. I plan to give them on Saturday- there will be a 100 day celebration as the babies reach that milestone. I will say that it was not the easiest project- those circles were not easy to applique. I used a blanket stitch and quilted as I did the applique. Hope you like them, I think the quilts look happy.

The quilts looks very happy and I'm sure your niece will too. They are adorable. You're good. I think I would have used polka dot fabrics!

We do like them, my daughter and I. My daughter is seven years old and we spend quality time looking at the board's pictures of wonderful quilts like these. I am sure the twins will look adorable in them. If you can post a photo of the twins in your quilts! It would be a wonderful keepsake for you, the mom, and a delight for us board members too.
