    Oh the possibilities!! :D :P

    Whatcha think?

Here's another shot... these piles of fabric are enough to make the top of a king size quilt (according to my figuring, anyway, we will see!!!) The piles are bigger than they appear in the photo.

There are nearly 400 3" squares there.... I am in the middle of cutting them all in half, making almost 800 triangles! :o ;D

I'm still in the market for cool new dotty fabrics for last minute subsitutions. hehehe

I know this isn't what we're supposed to look at, but I really like the table with the recessed hole for your sewing machine. Must make things easier :D

Thanks!!! My Dad made my sewing center!! It's huge. One day I was browsing the 'net and saw a $4,000 sewing center... and I mentioned it to my father. LOL!! Shortly thereafter we began the planning. I'll take pics of the whole thing if you'd like. It's like a 9-drawer bureau chest of drawers with a whole armoir with shelving set on top of it. And the sewing table folds in and out of it.

I have a question.................if 400 3" squares are what you have, how is that enough to do a king size quilt? 20 sqares by 20 squares are 400 squares, right............correct me if I am wrong. 3" cut is 2.5" sewn. That would only be a 50x50 square. Are you adding bigger squares also?

I might have some if you need them. I will have to check my stash. Let me know and I will look.

Also................if you cut the 3" squares into triangles they will be even smaller once they are squares off........maybe a 2" square?

PM me if you need more dots

    Hey Barb,

I didn't say JUST the 400 3" squares was enough for a king size quilt! Look in the second picture and you'll see all of the white background polka dot fabs too. Some of those are 7" squares, some are 6.25" squares.

I found all of those dotty fabs at Hancock Fabrics and Joanne's!

Ok, soo we all love your polka dots, but what we really want is to see your sewing table. Envy is creeping in getting the best of us. Kudos to your dad for seeing the need and helping you fulfill it.

Ok back to the dots. I love all of the bright cheery ones. It will be such a happy quilt. Also will make a great Doll Quilt for October, November, December, etc. swap.

Make sure to post pics as you go.
