Default Bright Lipstick Red Singer

I took a workshop on Saturday and one of the ladies had this beauty with her. She said it was a 1948 model and has had it for several years although it looked brand new. Obviously, she loves this machines and takes good care of it. Talk about coveting another's property. I really would have loved to have taken it home.

Sorry, no photo.

You can get your antique machine professionally painted to your favourite colour. FEATHERWEIGHTS are usually the ones I have seen repainted but I have seen a couple of other antique Singers painted too.

And it's not cheap.....but if it makes you happy. And you use it, then go for it.

I had my 1947 featherweight repainted a dark metallic purple. Isn't she pretty?
