I just finished piecing this today. It's not for anybody in particular; I just wanted to use the fabric. The fabric is a Moda line called "Celebration", and the pattern is a Missouri Star Quilt pattern called "Windowpane 9-patch." Super easy and fast. Maybe I'll just keep it for my first grandson. (And that's something I dream of!)

Sounds like a perfect reason to me. Can't beat that for a dream. I forgot to tell you I really like this quilt.

A lovely quilt! I wish you well on that grandson. I have 2 grandsons - ages 16 & 5 - and I have 2 granddaughters - ages 14 & 2. We have custody of the older ones, and the younger ones live 4 hours away from us. Unfortunately, we don't see them as often as I'd like.
