ID this Kenmore?

Default ID this Kenmore?

Can you identify this machine? Its a Kenmore. No manual with it. The seller says the metal ID plate fell off. Anything i should ask/be aware of when i go look at it?

Your link is to a bunch of different Kenmores. Which one did you mean? If it's the crinkle finish one in the black cabinet at the top of the list it looks like a White made machine. Most (if not all) of the older Kenmores like that are re-badged Whites.

I believe that is a 158-523 or one of that family. Cast iron body, maybe a plastic piece or two insides, but no plastic gears.
