Default B&W Memory Quilt

Last year, a friend's mother passed away at too young of an age (I think she was 41). Jess and I decided to take some of her mom's clothing and I'd make memory quilts for her dad, her and her siblings, and her mom's sister.
This is the quilt for her dad, Black & White with a little gray and a touch of pink. This turned out really good I think. It was a little tricky having enough from each shirt to do the blocks for that row. My finished blocks are 9". Her dad is a fairly tall fellow so we wanted it long enough he could drape it over his feet while kicked back in his recliner. We LAQ'd it with a meandering feather with black/white variegated thread. We put solid flat black on the back.
Thanks for looking!

This is such a pretty quilt. I'm sure she is thrilled with this quilt for her dad. It is such a pretty quilt and will give comfort when he needs it I hope. Can you tell me about the block? Have I seen that block before and just can't see it with this quilt? I really like the block and can think of so many fabrics that I can use for this but I just can't bring my brain to tell my fingers what quilt block that is. I can't wait to see the other quilts your going to make.

Thanks y'all.
FabStripper - I cut my fabric (after I deboned the garmets) into 3-1/2" wide strips. The top and bottom rows are 9-1/2", the middle row has 3 3-1/2" blocks. I'm sure there is a name for this, and perhaps even a pattern. I just winged it.
