Default Christmas Twister

Well, after making my first twister baby quilt recently, I must admit it was a little bit addicting. I had some pre-cut flannel Christmas fabric that was calling out to be used. Since the holidays are nearing I thought I would try another twister. The inner twister part finished at 29 x 35 so I added a few borders to use up the holiday flannel and make it bigger. It finished at 56 x 63. I used fleece for the back (no batting) after reading a thread here on QB about how many people have used it with good results. Plus, I got the fleece on sale the Saturday after Thanksgiving @ JAF for $3 a yard. I must agree, the fleece is perfectly acceptable for a back. It's perfect with the flannel front. It will be a really warm quilt :-)

Very festive looking and sounds warm and cosy. Just the thing to snuggle up under on a cold day with a good book.
