Default First quilt of the new year!

Just finished the top - Trip Around the World - queen size for a niece who just got married last month. Their favorite colors are blue and green. I think this should cover it!

Hi Jeanie, I think your quilt is Beautiful. I, too, made a TATW, and am only now finishing the binding. I made this for myself, and rather than a "sandwiched" quilt, I made it into a bedspread. The pieced TATW world for the top, and I used 108" fabric for the backing. No batting. I very much like the colors you've used, they compliment each other. I used the brown/tan/black colors. I don't have a camera, so can't show you a picture. I can't imagine your niece and her husband not liking this. How could thy not?? Great job!!

Great green and blue TATW quilt! TATW looks so easy it sucks you right in. Then as it gets bigger and bigger, you keep your fingers crossed you don't run out of fabric to finish the design.
