Has anyone tried the new Hobbs cotton/wool 80/20 batting? Sounds great, but I need a voice of experience.

I could not find Hobbs 80/20 WOOL batting on their website.

They only have a washable wool, that is marvelous by the way. I love the drape of it in my bedquilt and wash it regularly with no problem at all. I handquilted it and found very, very little bearding and it was so EASY to quilt through! I LOVE it!!

I think 80/20 is the poly/cotton blend, I think their wool line is all wool. I like 80/20 but have not tried wool

The wool is wonderful lightweight and warn in winter and not too warm in summer. It's great for hand quilting and also for LAQ. I also like 80/20 it has a scrim and it hangs very well. Both battings will shrink some. ...

I'm using the Hobbs Tuscany cotton wool blend right now. I like the look of the quilting - great definition. As to how it will hold up down the road, I don't know since I'm still in the quilting process, but I like what I'm seeing so far.

I hadn't hear about this 80/20 blend. On their website, I didn't see it listed under the Heirloom collection:

Thanks for your reply. I have used the Hobbs wool and loved it for the two quilts I hand quilted. I have also used the 80/20 cotton/poly on a pieced quilt. The quilt I am ready to hand quilt now is a special one, completely applique that has taken me a full year to complete. I feel there is more loft to the wool batt than I want and not quite enough in the cotton/poly. I have also used Tuscany silk, but it doesn't seem quite right either. I was hoping the Tuscany 80/20 cotton/wool would be just right. I will give it a try based on your positive experience.
