What beautiful blocks these are. I can't wait to see the finished quilt. Congratulations on 50 years of marriage!

The full quilt, not the greatest picture, I'll put a better one on later. And some more of the blocks. I removed the skirt from my wedding dress (that my Mom made for me), and cut the satin skirt into the blocks that I embroidered. Our bridesmaids wore yellow so I added yellow satin for the other color. The quilt is made with the Trip Around the World pattern. And I have our children's and grandchildren's names and birthdates on it also. It is a family history quilt !

Default Better picture of my quilt?

I have it hanging in my sewing room. We were going to hang it in the hall, but we walk back and forth there so much I was afraid it would get really dirty from everyone rubbing against it when they passed by.
