Default Need help in finding the correct book to learn new skill

Hello, To all

I wish to learn how to do potrait and landscape quilts, so I would like to know who would be
the best author, instructer to teach me the best way to make that type of quilts. You the quilters on this
board have many years of experience when it comes to creating beautiful masterpiece quilts, therefore
this is the best place for me to get the information iam requesting. Thank you for all your help and time
you put into helping me with this request.

There are several teachers on Craftsy who teach "art" quilting, which is what I consider portrait and landscape quilts. Check each of them out and see who you like best.

There's many techniques and styles of landscape quilts and portraits. Do you want realistic or abstract or something in between? Do you want pieced, straight edge, curves, applique turned edge or raw edge? Do you want lots of detail? How big do you want?

I have 'Picture Piecing' by Cynthia England and 'Landscape Quilts' by Nancy Zieman and Natalie Sewell.
Not got around to trying out anything yet but they seem informative .......... one day..............

I used to have a book, but gave it away and cannot remember the title. You have gotten some wonderful answers. I just looked up some titles and the front covers are gorgeous.
