Default Plans have changed - Please show me your Charlie Brown Quilts

Well, I thought my co-worker's new baby theme was going to be Winnie the Pooh but I was wrong. They are going with a Charlie Brown theme. Has anyone made a Charlie Brown quilt that I can see. I've search the web under images but nothing has really stood out to me yet. I'm thinking I would like to incorporate a yellow zigzag like the stripe on Charlie's shirt. Maybe as the border...not sure yet. I need inspiration.

just went to google,
they showed a lot of quilts yellow and black with the zig zag in black like the CB shirt. some of them were more themed, Christmas or Halloween. maybe you can download a CB pic and print it out on fabric to put in the ctr of a star block, something like that maybe?? Good luck with this one. Please, show us what you end up doing. you could draw a big maybe 2 feet tall Charlie Brown and applique him to the top of the quilt, or do all the characters, appliqued on.

Not sure if this is current, but there is CB fabric here: http://www.bugfabric.com/fabric/them...lie-brown.html
Also, http://funfabrics.com/cartoon-storyb...e-Fabric-Store
I know I have seen it at LQS, but can't remember how long ago.

Also found pdf files for CB characters: http://tweloquilting.blogspot.com/p/...s.html#peanuts

I found all info on google for CB quilt pattern. Have fun!

I would check out on Google and see if you find any inspiration there:

There are some fabrics with Charlie brown for sale on eBay:

There is one panel with Charlie Brown:

I made a Peanuts quilt using the wonky blocks pattern in bright colors with a scrappy binding, no border. It was easy and went together really fast. There's still Peanuts fabric out there but I don't know if there's any with just Charlie Brown. Another idea if you do machine embroidery would be to embroider the center of whatever blocks you make, I know there are Peanuts embroidery designs out there and there's an old machine with Peanuts designs built into it.

That's a really cute quilt Cari. Thanks for the picture.
Thanks to all for the links for fabric. I like the paper pieced ones but I'm not good a pp'ing but will keep that link for future.
