Default Summer of quilts 4-finished in my first 3 weeks of summer vacation

Last summer I was recovering from carpal tunnel surgery, so this summer, I am trying to catch up on some quilting!

The first quilt is my sister-in-law's. The second two were pieced for me by my sister in exchange for quilting on her projects. The quilt with the lime green running through it was given to my friend who retired from teaching this year. The blue pinwheels with the brown and gold was going to be my gift, but the dark navy blue hand dyed fabric ran a little bit when I washed it, even though I used 5 color catchers in the wash. I will still enjoy it in my house. The last quilt is my sister-in-law's. It will be a gift for my niece's teacher. The teacher is switching to another school and my niece is also changing schools. My niece has had this teacher for two years. She is the type of teacher who pours her heart into every kid.

I've got at least one more quilt on my "must do" list that my sister pieced 2 years ago, but for today, I am sleeping in!
