Default Cats Cats Cats

Ohhhhhhhhhh, I feel so lucky to have found this pattern by Pam Bono

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181797269987...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
I love cats in quilts. This is an applique and I don't do that lol, but I have a way to do it easy. I think I only payed 11.00 for the pattern and it came already and it;s brand new. The cats are huge and fit on an 18 inch block.

Now, I am on a quest to find the "Pussy Willow Gang" pattern. This pattern has six kittens in different poses. I have looked and looked. I will take a break and look another time. This how I managed to get 6 of her books for so cheap.

I have the "Pussy Willow Gang" pattern. I purchased this from JJ's Craft shop in Napier, New Zealand. I made a couple of cushions for mothers days gifts and they came out lovely. One day I will make the quilt up. Being very good this year and trying to finish off some UFO's.

Keep looking on eBay and be patient. Be sure to give the seller of that pattern a good review for fast shipping.

I won't be able to start this until about the last week in August. Instead of putting them on a plain square of fabric, I thought I would make a quilt block and then applique them on top. I will keep checking ebay for the Gang tho....

That pattern would look nice in felted wool (with a neutral batik in the background). Felt is nice to work with because you can just do a simple blanket stitch & don't have to worry about turned edges or fraying or anything.

Good luck finding the other pattern. Sounds like a fun quilt you have in the works!

Bree, I think I am going to do it the freezer paper way. Then use a blanket stitch on my machine with a decorative thread. With the freezer paper you can turn the edges over nicely or if that is too much, I can always fuze.

Hi rose, I made a great cat quilt I think you would like. It is called "Jazz Cats" and is on the cover of a book "The Cats Meow". I used scraps and a white background. It was fun to make especially if you love cats!
