Default Rhondas' wall hangng swap, Oct.

I had four months to make a wall hanging for Rhondas' wall hanging swap. I started it today. Just want to share. It will be done in time for the swapping at the end of the month!

    "Q" is for quilter

The "Q" is fused with a light weight fusible and then pinned onto the backing and stitched down with the buttonhole stitch.

I find the lightest weight fusible is just enough to help pieces keep their shape without adding stiffness to the quilt.

I also did false trapunto behind the "Q" so it is raised even though it doesn't show in the picture.
