Default For Rhondas wall hanging swap

This project has to be done for the end of the month so it can be in Rhonda's Wall Hanging Swap. I am excited about this one. My first real hand appliqued project. The background is a vintage fabric that I think might have been used for PJs. all the fabrics I used would make great summer PJs.

The Bloc-loc ruler made the HSTs perfect.

Title: Summer Pajama Party
24" Sq.

There is one little misfit corner to fix, not bad.

Hope you enjoy it.

Beautiful work Ube. It looks like you used some of my old pajamas! Whoever gets this will be lucky. How long did it take you?

My guess is about twenty-five hours. That includes choosing fabrics, several times, trial and error methods for shaping and placement, hand sewing. The pinwheels took about eight hours.

Elmers Washable School Glue played a big part in this project.

There will be a few more hours for quilting.

It's gorgeous! Love the title! So fun doing a new technique isn't it (well, frustrating and fun at the same time!)

That is adorable. I have been hearing a lot about block-loc rulers lately!
