Default My first cousins quilt

My sweet first cousin who lives in Iowa just finished with 33 treatments for breast cancer. I wanted to make her a lap quilt that wasn't totally about cancer, but I did want to add some pink fabrics. I had a ton of problems making the label, something happened to the embroidery stitching, I know because I broke 10 needles just to stitch the label but I wanted to get it done so I could get the label done and attached and get the lap quilt in the mail. So please don't look to close.!! She was thrilled about getting the surprise quilt.
I loved the quilting stitches with all the hearts. Thanks for looking.

A sweet quilt for your cousin! She can snuggle underneath it, and know she is loved.

I like the simple pattern, the colors and the heart quilting. I am sure she will love it. That quilt pattern is on my "to do" list too :-)

That's lovely. I like the colors and the simplicity of it. The label is wonderful. My best wishes to your cousin. I know she will feel your love every time she snuggles under this quilt.
