Sharing a quilt made for cousins

My cousins were married about 5 years ago. My daughters and I have been trying to make some quilts for cousins. I made this one for a young couple that live up near Lake Michigan. Thought the blues and greens reminded me of the woods. The pattern is called: Gimme Diamonds.

This turned out great. It always amazes me what can be done in quilting with just a turn of the fabric.

And I see you also added a sand dune or two. Gotta love those sand dunes on Lake MI.

Thanks for all the wonderful encouraging statements. I so love to quilt, but find when I get one done it is time to take a little break. But then my husband says I go back to doing normal things like cleaning, shopping and helping the family. Guess I get absorbed in the quilt making process!!!!!!
