Default Your Christmas gift to yourself

I'm going to take some long arm quilting lessons at a local quilt shop. That is going to be my Christmas present to myself. I have quilts I want to finish that are on my long bucket list. I don't have the room without fenaggling moving this and that. I want to be able to lay it out and quilt and atleast have some experience at a long arm for myself. At least once in my lifetime work at a long arm.
what is your Christmas gift to yourself? My New Year's resolution is not part of this.

My gift to myself was purchased earlier this year. I got a new Pfaff machine. I love it. My Christmas gift for right now is to take a few days and just sew.

Nothing I really need or want. I plan to sew as much as I can, which is what I always do. I will be off a couple of extra days this week and next.

Going to my favorite fabric store, M&L fabrics, after Thanksgiving was my Christmas present to myself.

Every two years I get rid of my non formal clothes and buy new. I bought five pair of slacks, three jeans for boot wear, and 12 tops. Three new pair of shoes, one pair of dress boots. I'm set for another two years.

DH said that wasn't really a gift, clothes are part of the house budget. I have my eye on a new machine to take to classes and retreats. I haven't decided yet which one.

I just purchased the new Janome 500e embroidery machine. Won't have time to play with it until after the holidays. I have big plans for it so I hope I'm not too afraid of
it.

I bought myself nineteen new quilt books and a new foot for my bernina sewing machine. I plan on focusing on finishing the tops already made and of course the charity sewing for the diabetic kids. I plan to do some clothing sewing this year too. I used to really enjoy that.

I just bought myself a new flannel nightgown. It doesn't usually get that cold here, when I got mine out the other night and wore it the poor thing was so worn out and thread bare I woke up with so many holes it was funny. Tried to remember how old it was and I think it was at least 30 years. We used to get new PJ's at Christmas when I was a little girl so it just seemed like a treat.
