Default An Oops! - I think

Just watched f&p episode - 2800 series - New Hampshire Nights - good looking 25 patch (2 1/2") of lite/dark squares....I think I saw an oops! In one of the blocks. Marianne emphasized the placement of lite/dark squares saying 1st, 3rd, and 5th row should start with lite so that the dark sashing is more definite. Ok, but when the camera scanned the quilt on the wall, I spotted one that was the opposite...there may have been more but camera doesn't stay on that long. I smiled, thinking, that's her humility block! If you see the episode, see if you can see it!

She may or may not have sewn the quilt. Both F&P and EB have others do the piecing. Hope they added it to the error list on their website. Oops, I guess she is taking the credit for this quilt!

Actually, the more I look at it, the more I like the dark squares in the corners. It makes the points on the stars show up. With light in the corners, it blends with the star points and makes the stars look more like crosses. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. When I make this quilt, I will do it that way! lol

I agree, the dark corners are much better contrast with the medium yellow star points than the creamy white.

I see it and I bet they won't if they do not look at the photos.
