Default 3 dudes orange/teal

Hi! Here's my 3rd "big quilt" and my interpretation of the 3 dudes pattern. I wanted something bright/sunny so I went for oranges/yellows. I was afraid that if I used black for the dark portion that it would look too Halloweenie (is that a word?) so I chose teal instead. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

I also have the back. As you can see by the quilting that I stuck to just stitch in the ditch. I was afraid of distracting from the pattern. I placed an applique of the treble and base clef arranged in a heart. The recipient is a musician so this is a personal touch I added.

Next is the quality control officer. I was trying to take out the safety pins when he decided it looked too snuggly to pass up.

Wonderful quilt! I think Halloweenie is a perfectly good word!

I'd be pleased too! Very nice. I love how puffy it looks; That's probably what your woofy likes too :-)

Really pretty and looks so comfy. I can see why the inspector decided it was a good place to take a break!

Thanks! It is a bit poofy as I used polyester batting. At $9 for a queen sized batting from a Canadian site, it's easy on the pocket book, plus it makes a very cuddly quilt.

It is really nice, love the colors. It is so cute that our quality control inspectors get comfy on our quilts as soon as they are laid out on floor!
