Default Need ideas on how to quilt.

They are long--about 12/13" by 55" The bottom one has a bigger bottom border. I'm thinking raindrops echoed--but need more ideas. My sketch of suns is not working. I want to do some wild quilting on these.

I myself would ditch in each blocks and shadow. Can you FMQ a design that fits in each square? I love crosshatching so I would fill in the background with that simple straight stitch You made a very attractive modern quilt.

I love the look of cross hatching--but wanted to try something new. All that negative space to play in....

I might do matches ( the tiny side by side lines) quilting in the shadows to unify it but use a different FMQ design in each square. I might do simple cross hatch, stipple or pebbles in the sashing. Very pretty!

Thanks for the idea... I'll definitely matchstick the shadows. I was playing around with sketching it divided into 5 sections on a diagonal--then blend a change in motifs through each section.... hmmm.... But I'd want to set off the squares.

There's a craftsy class called wild quilting by Christina Cameli. Check it out.

I took it--loved it. I posted this to ask Christina for any ideas too. I watched lessons from it yesterday looking for ideas...

I was thinking waves for a moving effect like an illusion.

I decided! I'll do the same motif around the blocks--then move to a different one the next layer out--and if room change once more. But the whole thing will be centered... hard to explain. lol
