Default My grandmother

Hello my name is April. I learned how to see when I was pregnant with my first daughter. My mother inlaw at the time had taught me. I love it. That's something I would never thank her enough for.
Like most grandmother's in that time Also was always at her sewing machine. I admired her knowledge watching her see. After I hand my second daughter my grandmother passed away. My father ask if I would like my grandmother old sewing machine. I told my dad I would be honored. Years later I have only one machine. That's my grandmother's Singer. I refuse to use any other machine. When I am working on a project j
I feel Grandma hands guiding my hands.
I need to take in for repair but I can't wait to feel Grandma touch again.

Hi April, how wonderful that you have your beloved grandmother's sewing machine. I have a few old ones and they are awesome! What kind is it?

Welcome from Maryland. I understand the honor and thrill of using grandmother's sewing machine. I just inherited a blue Universal that my grandmother used in the 50s. I feel very connected to her when I touch it. It has to be rewired for safety before I can use it (I just got it in July) but I can hardly wait.
