    Default 1/4" Washi Tape

I saw this item on a quilt shop news letter and had to have it!

Hopefully this will help me become more consistent.

Brilliant! So easy to read. I would make a whole lot more HSTs with that convenience.

For many years I kept a stock of "Tiger Tape" It was perfect for both had stitching and machine consistency. Check it out https://www.amazon.com/s?k=tiger+tape&ref=nb_sb_noss_2 . Early in my quilting days it was perfect to learn a good 1/4" and I could move the take down from one place to another as I sewed. A roll last a long time.

There are several products similar to this. It sounds like a good idea, but I've found there are drawbacks. One is that in order to keep lined up, you have to look at the end of your fabric, rather than closer to the needle. Another is that the configuration of your sewing surface may not be flat enough to use the tape effectively.

    That would be handy.

I have used this tape and it's a lot less cumbersome then the big sheet of marked lines. It works fine. The tape shouldn't be left on the machine for long period of time, it's made to be replaced often. Don't try to make a roll last for years. LOL

I ordered two rolls of this tape months ago and an currently using it to make flying geese. This along with my Bloc Loc templates are making every "goose" consistent. Love this tape!
