Default Finally!

Finally finished Bonnie Hunters Frolic! It was my first of her quilt patterns and first mystery. I set it aside after the reveal and got it out at the beginning of the year and put it all together. My ex husband (he is still my biggest quilting enabler and we still maintain a wonderful relationship) saw it and claimed it after asking it I could make it to fit a king size bed so I added 2 additional borders. After the backing I originally ordered for it ended up being too small after squaring it up, I opted for a plain white muslin backing just to get it done and on to its new home so I can start a new project.

Ohmigosh, that's beautiful! 😍 I love the colors and the sparkle all over the center with the quieter borders. Just amazing!

And how nice to have a great relationship with your ex. My ex and I get along really well, too.

It's beautiful, and I love the extra borders! BH patterns tend to be a bit on the busy side for my taste, and your borders calm it down perfectly. I also love that your ex wanted it.

Beautiful! I've done one of her mysteries. Bonnie works in smaller pieces than I normally do. It was a great challenge for me! It is a great feeling to finish one of her mysteries

Congrats on the finish!

Tallchick, this came out beautiful! One of my brother in laws really like to see what I’ve done. It’s good your ex appreciates your work because he sure benefitted in this case!-lol- that’s some work girl!
