    Default Rob Appell?

Has anyone else noticed Rob Appell on Stitching Heaven tutorials? Is he no longer on MSQC? or is he doing both?

I don’t think he’s been on MSQC for awhile.

He has been gone for a long time from MSQ. You can still find him YouTube, I believe he is the spokesperson for Michael Miller fabrics.

Never impressed with him from the very beginning. Always reminded me of a snake oil salesman. But I don't think he was selling anything.

He's fun to watch and has some good videos about quilting. He is hyper but his life seems to be an open book. He is a recovering alcoholic, religious, and devoted to his family by all accounts. His tutorials for machine maintenance are very informative.

ha, ha. Lady Diana I love you!! I am not fond of him myself but the only man i considered a snake oil salesman (term from old cowboy shows) is a religious young man on t.v. here! You are so cute. Rob is OK ,but I bought that long ruler for one of his patterns and never used it. too much fabric waste so i finally gave the ruler away! Just not my taste.

I watched him and Jenny do a tute for skateboard quilt on MSQC. Great tute. In fact I've made 5 for Project Linus.

Was it the Burst Block ruler? I bought one and love it. I have made a lot of quilts using it. I don't have much fabric waste, mostly trimmings.

I love Rob! I've made quilts from several of his tutorials and his Youtube videos for FMQ really helped me and gave me ideas for new designs.
