We got a food gift basket for Christmas and I was the one to recieve it. I snuck the hersheys almond bar out and hid it in my sewing room. And I ate the whole thing by myself. Nobody is allowed to touch anything in my sewing room so it is a safe place for me. So ladies am I alone in this practice.

Nope - your not alone - but most everyone knows I always have red hots and good and plenty in lil jars. Hey the kids always buy these for me-got a box of good and plenty and thin mints for Christmas as always. My dad started buying me the thin mints or York patties years ago for Christmas and the kids have kept it up -to me it honors him now that he is not here to do it - BUT the fudge and divinty is well hidden. teehee...

I definitely keep the candy stash in my sewing room. If I didn't, I would never have any!!! LOL And putting the baking in the freezer? Doesn't help at all....DH will eat it frozen. ;)

Ummm, yes, but please don't tell.

I got some candy for Christmas and was wondering where to hide it so DH wouldn't eat it.

I love crystal and have a double decker jar w/ a lid so guess where my candy is? My DH would never think to look there.

Now, to make it last to the new year.

My weakness is peanut M & M's. They are in my sewing room in an undisclosed location. They melt in your mouth........not on your hands or fabric.

it is not so much hidden in their but kept in there, the kids know where it is, I have a cupboard space saved for my goodies. They know that they are not allowed to touch without asking, though I have issues convincing DH of the same thing. (I do put the special things in a different place)

You're not alone. I have several candy dishes in my sewing room. Right now, one is filled with dark chocolate M&M's, one is filled with peanut M&M's and another one is filled with almond Hershey's kisses. Got a good stash from after Christmas sales! DH knows where the candy dishes are in the sewing room and when I see evidence that he's been in them, I ask about it. He becomes Mr. Innocent, and then I go buy some more!
